Pixability Ad Legends Video Series | Charisse Hughes, SVP & Global CMO, Kellogg’s [Video]

We’re back with another episode of our Ad Legends video series, and this time we’re thrilled to be joined by the SVP and Global CMO of Kellogg’s, and good friend of Pixability, Charisse Hughes. In this episode, we discuss reaching consumers through YouTube, and marketing with a purpose. In today’s extremely fragmented media landscape, Kellogg’s casts a wide net to connect with its audience wherever it can. But Charisse shared that the brand is particularly focused on finding platforms where the audience is engaged — and YouTube fits that bill. Recently, the brand found that during the pandemic they were acquiring new households through their cereal brands, and used 10B data points and first party data to uncover an opportunity to connect with urban and multicultural households. Then the brand ran a geo-targeted YouTube campaign to reach this audience, and the campaign beat their audible and visible on completion benchmarks by an incredible 50%. Charisse also discussed how the brand markets with a purpose, both at the corporate level and down to individual cereal brands. We loved Kellogg’s vision of a better world — where people are not just fed but fulfilled — and how the brand uses YouTube to reach consumers and advocates around that mission.
